Butterfly Pea tea is an herbal tea made from the dried flowers of the Clitoria ternatea plant, native to Southeast Asia. It is known for its deep blue color and for its potential health benefits, including improved brain function and stress reduction. It is also used in cooking and mixology, as the tea can change color when exposed to acidic ingredients like lemon juice.

Blue butterfly flower is a vine and it is a mesic plant, which means that it needs an abundance of water and consistently moist soil for healthy growth. This is Very easy to grow, and a sunny place, In Winter, you can cover the plant with a woolen blanket. This vine doesn’t like cold at all. Or you have to plant in a pot that can take inside the home in winter.

First, should prepare a Nursery pot to germinate Seeds. The mixture should contain Garden soil, sand & Compost in a 1×1 ratio. Lay the seeds into a certain distance in rows & columns, like 1×1 inches.

Seeds Lay half an inch underground in the Nursery mixture. Always keep soil moisture. Don’t let the soil dry out.

Care maintenance must be important. after 2 or 3 weeks it can transfer to the growing area.

The growing area can use big flower pots or Ground Area. It should the mixture when used as a Nursery mixture. compost is better for ground permanent planting.

How to fertilize?

Fertilize can be started in the 2nd week after being transferred to the growing area, Take about 10 days to see 6 inches growing, and you can support the vine to climb

maximum 1 teaspoon full of Nitrogen, Prospers & Potassium mixed fertilizer (NPK) can use once a month. It is much better if you can add compost or any other carbonic fertilizer, I recommend organic fertilizer from homemade. ( which is kitchen food waste compost)

Normally we grow these plants using 100% organic fertilizer compost. We use whole plant roots, leaves flowers, and beans for edible and cooking
